Hey guys I'm a bit confused about this
But my guide rails are bent, humped our bowed what you want to call it but they are far from straight I'm only after noticing this today when I was trying to join up a full sheet  of 8x4 along the 8ft edge, now I checked the rails after with a 6 ft level and there not true... And the other guys on the job have 1400 rails too and there are perfect... Now before everybody starts saying o you must of dropped them, our must not be joining them right.. I want to say they were never dropped our abused and joining I do the same as the videos I seen..
So here it go if you hold the rail facing up as the saw sits splinter guard to the left side looking down the rail you can see a curve in the rail going from the splinter guard to the 2 t tracks... Now how dose that happen please explain???  Now these were only new rails when I got the the new tsq55 last year..  So has this happened to any body else???
Are you guys like me never noticed it until it's too late our like me  took it for granted they are straight as a arrow from the factory....
Seriously pee off pete...

They could have not been straight from the factory.  The extrusion process is not totally fool proof.

I had this happen with a 9 foot rail - cleaned up the edge of some sheets of VERY expensive prefinished plywood, screwed them up on a ceiling, and $^&*^*&^%!!!!!! the edges were not straight - they had a bow in the center.

Bob Marino took care of me on this - Festool sent me a new rail, which is perfect!
