Hi. I purchased the TS55 with the FS1400 and 2700. I am now interested in purchasing LR 32 system. Is there a way to trade in these tracks to get the same ones for the LR32 system?  Will the LR guide rails work with the track saw?

Many swing the deal at purchase, or they return with the 30 days and swing the deal on a new purchase.

Your dealer should be able to trade out the standard rail for an LR 32 "holy" rail if you're within 30 days of your original rail purchase.  Aside from the holes, the rails are identical in contour.  And if you thought about drilling your own holes - forget it.  The holes in the "holy" rails are NOT round.

Hi,

Yes, the LR32 rails work just like the regular ones with the saw and other tools. Currently only 55" and 95" rails are available for the LR32. So you will probably want to keep that 2700 anyway.

Sadly it has been well over 30 days. Oh well I guess the more guide rails the better! Thanks for the help guys

"Damned if you do, damned if you don't".

One can study this stuff to death, and miss out, or not study it enough and miss out.
There is no good answer.

Maybe there should be a Wiki section on here?

Yeah as others have stated, the rails are all the same profile so can be interchanged or joined. You may want to look into getting the rail connectors. I think from memory you need two as they come as single not as a pair, so order two.

Buy the Makita connectors as they work with out scoring the track and are easier to align.
