Hi everyone

Just wanted to share this video from Guido Henn. Gives you a lot of ideas how to use a router-table. I especially like that he can adjust the angle of the table that gives you a lot more uses out of your bits. Note the gap between the fence/table when trimming the edge-banding.  [smile]

I ordered some of the magazines with his projects but I don't read German. :(
Sure wish the projects were available in English!!
Yes I tried using translation apps but they could not handle the woodworking terminology.
Guido has an amazing mind and I would love to duplicate or utilize some of his ides.

GUIDO,

IS AWESOME !!!!

He sometimes checks in here.
i wish he would more often

thanks for posting this, this is a great video. I have seen a lot of videos for horizontal tables but didn't really see the need in them. This makes the uses a lot clearer.

Guido is the man and Holzwerken is awesome

This router table just solved one of my project issues.  Anyone know if the plans are available, English or German?  Looks like it's time to grab another sheet of Baltic birch plywood.

Wouldn't it be nice if I could at least read German...

My German is non-existent too. If they did an English translation, I'd jump at a subscription as there are some awesome projects and ideas on the Holzwerken site and YouTube channel.

Wouldn't we all!!!  It seems to be a high-quality publication.

Google translate

Google translate doesn't work too well sometimes with some of the woodworking specific language and tool names etc. and although adequate for viewing web content, using it to translate the magazine would be time consuming and still leave you with a German version of the magazine and a separate English translation. It wouldn't be pretty...  [crying]

That's true I use to get the general jist of what's being said and then can usually work out the silly translation bits.

Another vote for an English version. Not sure why they couldn't do it as a pdf-only version to avoid the printing costs of a second language? I bet a lot of people would subscribe if they did. And those of us who want a hard copy can certainly find a way to print one - perhaps even to get it bound.

Hello,

since I'm a german native I could try to translate the article. Could be a nice training for my english skills.

Unfortunatelly I do not have a copy of this magazine so I would need a scan or something similar (I assume this is legal for private use).

Just get in touch with me if you'r interested.
