I have tossed around the idea of building a hall tree for about 6 months or so and finally finished it yesterday.
THE DETAILS
- 3/4" mdf plywood
-5/8" pine tongue and groove panels
-3' wide x 6' high
- pocket holed and glued together for joining the wood
-15 hours from start to finish
after doing extensive research on what water base primer to use for mdf I came across kilz max water base primer. And used CIL melamine top coat 3 and then 6 coats of Polyurethane. 600 wet sand In between coats last pick is a close up of the edge of the mdf primed an painted
