It not what you are thinking.

This is a pet duck.

It has a name fer crissakes.

So just stop that silly thinking.

Just to clarify, the duck is NOT trained to test the brake on the SawStop?

not everybody can afford power tools...

Ha, it's good to see a hand tools forum here, but I couldn't help but laugh when I read that comment on this website.  [big grin]

I can't wait to see Festool's take on dust-free chiseling and hand planing.  How many chisels with Festool squeeze into a systainer--or will there just be a single metric chisel with adjustable width and/or a bunch of attachments?  Here's hoping for an early April announcement!  [wink]

What can I say

I've nothing to Adze

Seriously I'm going to upgrade my old hand tools next year

Set of chisels a couple of hand saws and a block plane and a smoother

I've told myself the kapex will be my only festool purchase next year (accessorys don't count)

I recently sold a set of blue Marples chisels and treated myself to a set of Lie Nielsen beveled edge chisels, LN honing guide, 10000 grit Ohishi stone, and oh yeah a No. 7 LN jointer. The money I got from the blue chisels only paid for the shipping! I get carried away sometimes and after honing a razor edge on them and polishing the backs so I can comb whats left of my hair in the reflection  I proceeded to polish the sides and top. OCD I know! But they are sure pretty. Got a set of Marples mortise chisels to sell to pay the shipping on my next order!    [big grin]
