FOG is a wonderful community with lots of content, friendly members and moderators that not only contribute expertise but work to keep the discussions respectful.  Many many hours across the community invested in this effort.

Amazing it's been going this long and a few years prior on the old Yahoo platform.

Thanks as well to Festool's [member=15]Christian Oltzscher[/member] for having the vision to bring FOG under the Festool organization.

[member=167]neilc[/member]  Yes indeed [member=15]Christian Oltzscher[/member]  should be recognized.  He played even more of a part while participating in the Yahoo group.  I could tell a story about that but I was sworn to secrecy - LOL.

To all:  We have mostly a great group here now and the groundwork was laid by many more - some who are and some who aren't active here now.  When I make this post annually it is never intended to draw attention to the moderators.  It is to remind all who read here that others have taken much time and effort to help and give advice.  That is what the core of the forum has always been about and I hope that in years from now we will continue to be able to read and reap the benefits of others' experiences and efforts.

This is my tenth year of membership and most of that time this place has been a great place to get information and also to give information.

Yeah there have been a few low moments here but in general it has been a great forum. Thanks to all the helpful mods for the work they do.

Here's to the next ten years.
