Canada day is when we celebrate Canada's Birthday. Today is our 144th year as a country.

Same to you Dan! I am located in Val-David, Quebec

What a great day!  [big grin] I love Canada Day.

It started with a bit of micro-lite flying over the Eastern Townships in Quebec, followed by an afternoon on Mount Royal in Montreal with the family, and finishing with some sweet medallions of beef on the barbecue and some Coronas.

Then to cap it off, a couple of hours in the workshop chiseling some dovetails. Unfortunately, having dovetailed 36 tails on half a chest, I just realized that one board has pins on one end and tails on the other!  : It still works but it's a little unconventional!

I spent most of the day tearing down a DECREPIT fence at my daughter Kathleen's place.  She and her family are on vacation for a week and I am replacing the fence as a surpise to them.
