I had a friend over to the shop the other day.  He was horrified to find that I have 8 routers.  (my reply was "how many golf clubs do you have?").  I have to admit it does seem a bit excessive.

So it got me to wondering how many routers do you guys have and use?

I have:
Triton 2 1/2 HP: table mounted
PC 1 1/2 HP Fixed Base: for dovetail jig
Festool 1010: for dovetail jig
Festool 1400: for general purpose and to use on guide rail
Festool MFK 700: for trim work
Bosch Colt: mounted in a plunge base for inlay work
Bosch 2 HP Plunge:  not used much
And a Dremmel if you count that as a router.

OF2200

Makita Trimmer

Bosch cant remember model never use it cant even remember where it is at the moment.

Thats it.

Have thought of getting the OF1400  but dust extraction might be good but the OF2200 just kicks ass so for now  I see no need for it.  My mate bought the OF1400 and it is a nice router so maybe if I feel the need for it ill get one.  I have alot more other tools I want on my wish list.

Methinks my son will be the recipient of the latter three, once I spring for the LR32 and the CMS-GE.

If you can count them off the top of your head...you don't have enough.  In a perfect world, every bit would have its own router.  ;D

And when your bit wears out you throw the cutter AND the router away  [tongue]

Glad to hear that I'm not alone with a stable full of routers.  I envy you guys with the OF2200.  That purchase is in the plan.  Once the CMS and the OF2200 "form a more perfect union" it's a done deal.
