Greetings from the frozen wasteland of oop norf uk.
Been a carpenter for 24 years. Had various festool over the years. 
Now I'm back. Tried out the little cxs drill. Bought that. Amazing little tool. Which lead me to selling the dire dewalt plungesaw.  And picking up the new ts55. I did have the old model but sold it when I went to work in south west France. Anyways. Back on track now.  That in turn led me to the new carvex.  Wow just wow.  Please bear in mind I'm a working chippie not a collector.  But the festool bug has bitten. So ctl midi.  Cxs.  Ts55.  And now the carvex. Picking up the C15 next weekend to replace the tired Bosch.

They will pay for themselves and make you money Mike. I've never regretted a festool machine purchase but I do have a shed /graveyard of other tools that have never performed to expectations! Festool are just as happy on site as they are in a nice warm shop and as you work you do wonder how you managed without them

Cheers for the welcome guys.  I was in France running a a small joiners shop.
As for being oop norf. I'm kinda in West Yorkshire. But true to an ex shopfitter history I've lived almost every where
