Hi everyone,
I'm excited about becoming a contributing member of FOG and gaining access to the wealth of information that this group harbors and hopefully make a few contributions of my own. I work as a carpenter at a fine art fabricationa and crating / packing company based in NYC and as a studio manager at a fine art painting studio. My interest in Festools at the moment is coming from a fine finishing perspective ( ETS 150/3 , CT 48 ) but I plan to aquire the track saw and some other things for more general carpentry applications.
Currently, I use my ETS 150 on a daily basis to prep gesso'd painting panels to a 400 / 800 grit surface prior to being worked on with an airbrush.
I'm originally from Tennessee and have been living in NYC for 7 years.
Thanks everyone!
