Hello, everyone, long time lurker and Festool addict here and finally decided to join in! Ive been a full time joiner for 23 years (since leaving school) and running my own one man manufacturing business for 11 years so hopefully i can be of use.
also recently a youtuber so will have some videos to share.
I had my first hit of Festool in 2008 when my Elu jigsaw exploded and its blue replacement sickened me to my stomach, i was doing a lot of jigsawing in the first years of my business so didnt take any chances and went for what was allegedly the best and bought the PSB e300 and coudnt believe the difference especially with the chip guard. not long after that i bought the LS130 reciprocating sander for profiling and that is when the problem really started; i made the fatal mistake of clipping the systainers together...
It not long before i had roughly in rder of purchase- RO125 rotary sander, RTS400 orbital sander, df500 domino, of2200 router with set, rebq saw with several guide rails, ctl midi, t18_3 drill, DRC 18/drill and some sytainer screw boxes. i even put a plug it on my non Festool laminate trimmer :'(
