Hey everyone! So I am in the beginning stage of designing a custom mft area for my shop and wanted to throw out what I am thinking and get some other insights from all you guys as to what I should incorporate into it.

I have a 15' run as to where I am going to put it. I had someone local cut me 4x8 sheets of mdf with all 20mm holes in the same pattern as the mft. I will use that the entire length of the 15' for the top.

I am thinking of installing the saw rail about 8' in so I can cut a full 8' to the left. I will set up some sort of fence with a stop and tape on the left side.

On the right side will be about 7' of support when cutting a smaller piece out out an 8' rip. I was thinking of incorporating either the kreg Forman or a radial arm saw on the right. Any input on either? I don't currently use the radial saw but that I could for cutting rough lumber before milling. I feel like the kreg might be better. I would set that down so the top is flush with the counter. Really just so I have a permanent place for it and hook it up to my dust collection.
Below all this would just be all storage. Mostly all my festool sustainers in a neat spot.

I was thinking of making it 3' deep and install  larger rail so I could potentially cross cut 4' if I wanted to rather than the 25-26" currently on the mft.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I attached a pic of the top as well as the spot where I am thinking of installing this.

Thanks!
