I just purchased a CT22E and a RO150FEQ for refinishing the hardwood floors in my home. I need help selecting some accessories.
After the floors are finished we plan to mostly use the CT22E to keep the hardwood floors clean. It will get used in the garage/shop some as well, but I can use my shop vac for cleanup work.
The store where we purchased the tools had the Tradesman/installer cleaning set (454 766) and the Compact cleaning set (456 736). The Compact set is obviously the most economical, but we questioned the durability of the plastic tubes. The tubes of our current house vac need replaced because the joints have worn until they no longer fit tight. The Tradesman set is first rate quality, but my wife did not like the Multi-purpose floor nozzle (452 911) because it is too deep to get between a table leg and the wall.
Some specific questions:
1. How deep is the Industrial floor nozzle (452 908) front to back, and will it slide sideways to get behind a table leg that is nearly against the wall?
2. How deep is the Standard floor nozzle (452 907)?
3. How well does the Multi-purpose floor nozzle (452 911) work on carpet? Our house has mostly hard wood floors with a few rugs. It would be nice to be able to clean the rugs without getting the upright vac out.
4. Will the Multi-purpose floor nozzle (452 911) work for cleaning a concrete garage floor?
5. Will the 27 mm hoses work with the stainless steel tubes?
I am leaning toward getting either the Tradesman or Workshop cleaning set and adding a few ala carte parts. Based on price alone it is tempting to just get the Compact cleaning set. What suggestions do you have for me?
