I would love it if someone could help me with a series of issues with my Kapex.
I purchased the saw in August of 2019 from Festool Recon, so it is still under warranty. There are multiple issues. I sent it in for warranty service once. Minor improvement (not cure) with one issue. I would like this saw to work properly. What do I do next?
Issues Include:
I spent the money on a Kapex because I wanted a precision tool. The tool I have at the moment is not that.
I have learned something. I do not expect I will ever buy a Recon tool again. If I could return this one, and pay the extra for a new Kapex, I'd do it in a hearbeat.
But what I really want is a Kapex that works the way it is supposed to. If someone could please help me get there, I would be very appreciative.
Thank you.

Issues Include:
- Rails and table are not parallel with each other. Consequently, when doing a depth-limited cut, such as a dado or half-lap, the dado is deeper at the outside edge of the board, and shallower at the inside edge of the board.
- The table is not flat. The left and right edges of the table are .045" higher than the center portion of the table. This results in non-square cuts.
- The fence is not flat. It bows outward by .008" in the middle.
- The miter angle is out of adjustment. Yes, this is something I can attempt to adjust, but a Festool should not come fresh out of warranty service with this issue.
- The lasers are out of adjustment. I sent the saw in with this specific issue, because the adjustment mechanism was malfunctioning when I discussed the issue with Festool Technical Support. It is my understanding that Warranty Service replaced the laser adjustment mechanism, but the lasers remain out of adjustment.
- The Fine Adjustment Rotary Handle is not installed properly. It is bent at an odd angle.
