Help with lr 32 bits and bobs please

Hi

Im going to buy the 2424/2-lr32  guide I thought I would chop up one of my 1400 guide rails and use a 300mm piece on the end for cutting sheet goods.

my question is what do you get in the lr32 set 583290 as its not clear to me..

• centering mandrel 
• 2 parallel side fence 
• 2 longitudinal stops

I see where the confusion comes in!

THIS is the parallel side fence, and includes the longitudinal stop (the bit on the end, which is also available separately as this part).

Its the longditudinal bit that gets me its not mentioned in the discription of those parts, I thought it may have been the stop that goes on the end of the rail for the correct offset.

I guess you cant beat going to a shop and seeing the stuff

The stop that goes in the end of the rails is not included in that set - you need part number 496938.

These are the newer, longer bars - they can be used for both setting the end spacing, and correctly spacing 2 joined LR32 rails. There used to be 2 separate products (one for each) but they've now been replaced by this new product that does both jobs. They come in a pack of 2.

Don’t know about in the UK, but here in the US the LR32 kit you showed also includes the guide rail edge stops, but they are not in the pictures.

Ah so im not going round the twist I thought I had seen the extra part somewhere  [doh]
