HEPA Filter be used in the CT 36 AutoClean Dust Extractor

Can the HEPA filter be used in the CT 36 AutoClean Dust Extractor if the Auto Clean is shut off?  Does it matter if the Auto Clean is shut off?  I believe the catalog says it will fit the CT 36 AC but will it proved better dust collection than the standard filter?

It will fit and the AC feature needs to be turned off. It will also filter better.

The HEPA filter should not be used in conjunction with the CT AutoClean for the purposes of RRP work.

The filtration level of the standard filter is 1 micron. The HEPA filter is 0.3 micron. So, we're talking a very, very negligible difference between the two.

I have both, swap them out for the task at hand. I do not use the 36-AC for RRP work. I have other CT's for those jobs.
