Hi all! I´m a new forum member (and Festool owner) from Portugal. My name is Miguel and I´m an amateur luthier. I´ve just bought the CTL MIDI vac to help me with some of the dust issues and fond out about this website, and decided to join.

Hey, thanks for the welcome and for the interest, guys. My interest is in the classical guitar but, to be honest, i´ve only built a couple of them - so i´m rather green.

I don´t have any pics of them here with me (my bad), but i have a pic of the soundboard i´m working at the moment. In case you´re interested.

Yeah, building a guitar is way beyond me, but I thought I would share this... took it in a museum in Puerto Rico. It shows how some artisans still build stringed instruments the hard way. If you close up, you will see the extension lines on the edge of the block of wood for the neck and all.
