HILTI alert

Went to big orange to pick up materials today and saw the 40% OFF tags on all Hilti stuff. I ended up talking with the Hilti rep for a bit. She stated that Hilti is leaving HD in various major markets and that Bosch will take over the space on a trial basis for 3 months or so. Apparently, HD wants to see which sells better. According to her ALL Hilti stuff is 40% OFF in some major markets, NOT all, NOT everywhere. I tried to find out which but I don't think she really knew. It is however definitely all Chicagoland HD stores.
If you like HIlti, you might want to check your local HD. I picked up a couple tools and a bunch of SDS bits. Good luck

HDs around here don't sell Hilti, although they use them in their rental departments quite a bit. That sort of tells you something, doesn't it.

I just tried in Austin - no luck!

The guy here said Chicago, Houston, and (I think) Miami.
