HK85 - is accuracy equal to the TS55 for sheet goods?

Don’t usually work with sheets, but for ripping 20mm solid oak at 45degree bevel ts55(2.2mm blade) is more accurate than hk85. My 420 fsk rail also needs adjusting as 90degrees is out of square, the FS-WA/90 with fs rail is dead square so I would not bother getting 670mm fsk rail.

With 50+ mm oak, I would go HK85. The sheer power will allow to handle it better and at a sufficient depth of cut it is pretty accurate.
With normal sheet goods, the HK85 is too heavy/bulky so it is harder /for the rail and for you/ to keep it steady which then shows.
As for mechanics, the interface of HK85 and TS55 with FS/2 is the same. So -at full plunge- the HK85 will keep up with TS55 for accuracy.
The difference comes with partial-plunge, like you need for thin sheet goods - there the full-chassis of the TS55 is smaller, ligher and stiffer thus provides a better guidance for the blade.
If you are choosing what to buy as your only saw, look for TS60 comming near you. If you have the budget, consider TS55 or TSC55 + HK85. The HK85 is a wonderful "monster" saw. But it is no "do-it-all-good-enough" saw. The TS60 is (to be) that saw.
Either case, I would not consider the FSK rails for cabinetry. They are meant for "fast and good enough". Not for maximum precision.
