Maybe this has been requested, maybe not.  I'm an employee at a dealer and borrowed an HK55.  Wow!  That was nice.  I didn't think I would like the 420 length track. It was perfect for the stair risers I cut out of 2x10 & 2x12.

For similar work in construction (versus fine wood working exclusive TS55) the HK85 would seem like a great sell with its broader capacity.  I have been rebuilding a deck and would love to have that little bit deeper cut of the HK85, as well as the dado capability (recently cut some dados for rim joists -- that would have been a lot easier than how I did it).

Any plans to bring it on this side of the Atlantic?

I sure hope they do. This is one of those tools that id be willing to spend good $$$ on because it adds new capabilities for me. The cost of that rebate block is staggering though, i dont know if id use that enough to justify it.

I've got both and for many reasons I haven't had the chance to use them. One thing I can say though, the engineering quality of the grooving block kinda leaves you drooling - I couldn't leave the store without it [wink]
