The HKC 55 EB-Set-FSK420 comes with the BP 18 Li 5,2 Ah Li-Ion AS as standard in the kit. Since the introduction of this saw, Festool has released BP 18 Li 6.2 AS. This tool only takes one battery and not two, is there an advantage to purchasing the 6.2 Ah batteries (Run Time, RPM) to use with the HKC 55? It would be nice if there was a kit that included the 6.2 Ah batteries as an option. It looks like the price difference is $30.00 ($15.00 x 2) between the two batteries if purchased a-la-carte. If I purchase the tool as a kit the cost is $735 with the 5.2 batteries and a total of $790 to buy the tool, batteries and the track separately. That is a $55 savings with the kit. If I purchased the tool and track separately in order to get 6.2 batteries, the total cost is $820.
Is there any option that will allow for a kit pricing that would include the 6.2 Ah batteries? My guess is the price should be $765 or a saving of $55. I would think that there would be a great deal of interest in the 6.2 Ah battery for this tool.
