I was weighing up the smaller or 850.
I went the 850 as I liked a few silly quirks:
1. Spiral Cutter with different drum & blades, so gives a very clean cut and slices through hardwoods with ease.
2. Unlimited rebate depth.
3. Depth cut adjustment on handle.
4. Vac connection can be flicked to either side.
5. Table to convert into mini joiner, whilst discontinued can still be ordered & built from spare parts.
She is a beast of a unit and requires 2 hands though will rip up to 3.5mm in softwoods and potentially hardwoods also.
