As I missed out on Woodpeckers one time large squares I decided to see if I could make one with stuff in the shop. I used 2 24" incra rails, which I also use for my parallel guide setup, 4 T-bolts and wing nuts, scrap baltic birch plywood and voila, a perfect udjustable square. It's adjustable and I just use my Woodpecker 1812 square to square it up. Great for squaring the MFT rail. If you want longer legs, just buy longer Incra rails. Used it today to square up some shaker doors that I was glueing up. Works like a charm.Thought I would share. Now to make an L shape brace.
Cheers,
JC

Good idea.  Have you checked it for square over the entire length?
Yes. When I bought my Incra 24" rails I tested them with my 36" straight edge. They are straight. I have bought one about a year ago that wasn't straight and I was able to return it for a straight one. I also use my Woodpeckers 36" rule as a second test. DId some inset drawers fronts today with a 1/16th" clearance and everything worked beautifully.
