My local Festool dealer in Mesa will be hosting Lie-Nielsen Toolworks in January, and they have asked me to Demo some of the Festool products. I have been advising them of products they should have on their floor and have even sold some items for them talking with customers, even though I am not an employee. Had a gentleman walk out with a Domino 500 and a CT 36 when he came in for a woodpecker router table. Also talked to him about sanders and he came back for a ETS125.  The owner of the store asked me if I would be interested in doing Demos with their visiting show of Lie-Nielsen Toolworks. Then to do weekly demos. I just have to figure out which tools to Demo when Lie-Nielsen Toolworks is there. I figure 3 tools and a CT vac would be a good start, set up on a MFT. Demo ideas welcome.

Birdhunter's vise springs to mind and it's attached to an MFT3

and would compliment the hand tool demo.

If you are looking for three tools I would suggest a track saw, a Rotex sander and a Domino.  If you want to use the track on the MFT/3 more you could swap the Domino or Rotex for a router.

A couple of other thoughts.

Vecturo might be a cool demo - cut some through tenons on a piece of wood with the plunge base, then cut mortises  to inset with a 1010 router.

Domino is always impressive.

Carved cutting a curve in a thick piece is impressive.  Combine that with the Vecturo for the through tenons perhaps.

Have fun!

They haven't got the Venturo in yet there and i haven't got to use it myself. Though for a future demo I would be interested  in trying it out. I was leaning toward the rotex, track saw, and domino or possibly the drill set with all the attachments. It should be fun!

Definitely demo the Domino. Throw together a domi-drawer. Do one side with through tenons and the other side hidden. Use sipos on the through side for a better effect.  Also, the dust extraction abilities of a festool sander are slways impressive. Maybe a rotex on a rough sawn board?  Take it to a quick shine

Thanks for mentioning this, I will be there for sure but to be honest more interested in Lie Nielsen and David Fleming.
