Hose adapter for vacuum

That is how the 50 mm hoses are made.
Thanks Tom.
I can go that route.

Is there an adapter I can plug into the bandsaw (50mm) into which I can then plug my normal hose?
Then I only need one hose.
i.e. Have effectively adapted my bandsaw to have the same connection as all my other Festools.

You can try this one, here is a link from Amazon.

It is a softer pliable plastic so you can cut it and it will stretch a bit too.

Home Depot usually has this thing over by the vac attachments as well. I believe it is branded as Ridgid. My Home Depot sells it for around 10 bucks.

The smallest end should fit the 27mm hose and one of the larger bells should work on the band saw.

Best thing to do is just buy a "standard" 2 1/4" Shop Vac hose. Do you have a regular generic shopvac that came with a 2 1/4" hose? That will plug into your Festool Vac.

You don't really want to use a 27mm hose as any shop vac will not have enough airflow as it is. Restricting it further with the small hose just makes it worse. Also, I would keep it as short as possible to help airflow.
