I just bought a DTSC cordless sander, but I pretty much am always running a 36mm hose. I have no idea which part I need to connect the 36mm hose to the sander. Can anyone point the way? Thanks in advance.

Doesn't that rather defeat the benefit of having a battery sander?

But your answer is herehttp://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-jigs-tool-enhancements/using-a-36-mm-hose-on-a-27-mm-tool/

Or herehttps://www.amazon.com/Festool-452897-Sleeve-Non-Antistatic-Reducer/dp/B003612UTE

The links under do not reflect any disrespect, they are jut a little different.

Or even herehttp://bfy.tw/K1rE  [eek]

But also for giggles you may like to take a look herehttp://bfy.tw/K1rJ  [scared]  [eek] [eek] [unsure]

Yeah I did all that, but I have mistakenly ordered wrong adapters in the past. The pics are small and the descriptions suck often so it's easy to make a mistake.

Doesn't your new sander have the new twist-lock dust port?

Even if you were to have the older style dust port (round), the D36 to D27 Hose Reducer in the second link is wrong, as that fitting not only won't fit onto the tool-end of your D36 hose, it also doesn't fit onto those older sander ports. Also, this is a good example where a Google search just won't do -- you really need input from someone that really knows what you're looking for. I don't have any of the newer tools with the twist-lock dust ports, so hopefully someone that does can provide a better answer for you.

Hi,

A company named Brosson makes one. It is available through this Ebay seller.https://www.ebay.com/itm/281170529852?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Also some people make short whip hoses and some dealers make them up for sale.

Seth
