Does someone know what is the difference between Festool hoses:
452882 - D36x3,5m AS and
497925 - D36/32x3,5m AS
Can't reach to understanding myself.
Thanks.

The newer hoses taper away from the extractor to the tool end.

The first item in your list is D36 (Diameter 36mm) all the way. The second is the newer tapering hose from D36 at extractor down to D32 at the tool.

The 497925 hose is a tapered one from 36 to 32 mm and is thus more flexible at the machine end.
Many of the new Festool hoses these days are tapered: 27/22, 32/22, 32/27 mm.
Some say it also speeds up the suction.

Thank you for the info.
But the connectors on both ends are the same, eg matching outside of TS55, OF1400, etc ports, correct?

Also, you get a lighter hose, which helps at the tool end of the hose... [smile]

36/32 mm hoses will not fit all Festool machines.
Most/all sanders, Carvex, Domino, OF1010 don't fit with this hose.
