There are a bunch of threads about this but I need something specific to my situation. I would like an anti-static hose that fits my CT36 AC so I can use it as a regular vac with cheap attachments. I think I want a 5 meter long 50mm hose. If I can buy from Amazon that is a plus because I am a prime member and returns are easy if necessary. I want to be able to get cheap attachments from box stores so it is not a big deal if they get lost or destroyed. I currently have a planex setup but no real way to vacuum stray popcorn and dust. I have seen the Bosch 35mm anti-static hose and that may be a good option. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Maybe supporting a Festool dealer that has the trained and knowledgeable personnel to help you out could be worth a try, versus dealing with Amazon. They can't even tell you what Festool is because it's just another widget they sell. [wink]

I think the reason that it's not bundled in a Systainer is that it will not fit in a Systainer, other than maybe the Maxi Systainer.

OK. So I already have shop vacs with 50mm hoses so I guess I could just use that for larger debris. But I have an expensive festool vacuum and a planex hose and no attachments. I like the tradesman/installer cleaning set but it seems pretty wasteful to get another D36 AS hose. The planex hose has the flanges but I think the steel tube goes inside the hose right? I guess I'm a little disappointed in the options I see. Can I get the tradesman/installer cleaning kit without the hose? Again I have a planex hose and a 27mm hose. Suggestions?
Or maybe the tradesman/installer with the D50 4meter hose instead of the D36 and I can pay the $30 difference.
It would be nice to have a reducer from D50 to D36 tool end that I can pop on or off the end. I'm just trying to get as many options as possible. Like using new D50 hose with attachments that I already own when I need to suck up some stray blown insulation or connecting my planex hose to the tradesman/installer D36 attachments when sucking drywall dust from trim and shoe moldings. Is this a possible scenario or am I dreaming?
