Is there an adapter I can use to connect one hose to another?

I have this Festool 493047 Hose Sleeve but it needs to have a different end (the vac end) for them to connect to each other.

You need another vac end so one hose is vac-vac + the connector you listed. OR use the new connectors. Sledge (Festool) indicated that to be possible with the new connectors. OR tape them together using masking tape.

Ok thanks guys.

Thats what I am doing now, I have a D36 with Vac----Vac-Adapter-Vac----Toolend that I also swap a D27 hose onto.

I just assumed [wink] that because Festool is German there would be a more efficient way of doing it!

I bought the sleeved hose with cord when they came out, replaced the vac end with a tool end, plug that into my 36mm hose, use an extension cord to connect the plugin.  Voila...long hose with minimal pressure drop.

See attachment.

FYI, the new braided sleeve hoses will join together without any voodoo or extra bits.

[member=48572]Shane Holland[/member] or anyone else. I bought a new style 36mm hose and it doesn't join to another 36mm hose or to itself. I can join a new style 27mm to it no problem but if I want to join two 36mm hoses, I can't. What am I missing?

Hi, for two 36mm hoses, one hose must have two(2) rotating ends they are needed and a connector sleeve all rotating ends are 58mm O.D.whether, 27,36 or 50 hoses, connector sleeve#493047.
