hi all,

I have spotted something on ebay that screems stolen to me!! is there anything that can be done to better this situation.

I know its a dog eat dog world out there but i like to think that if that was my kit and somebody spotted it for sale that they would do something..

I may be wrong of course and it may be a legitimate sale!?

You can report an item, but I'd assume eBay wants proof that it was stolen.

You got me curious so I just did a search and couldn't see anything that I thought was stolen but I could have missed something. I did however find someone selling a spliff rolling kit in a mini systainer lol whatever next

I didn't see the ad but that's not much proof that it's stolen.

Is there a thread where one can report stolen festoon tools or check ser #'s?

I just picked up a ts55 and ct midi at a pawn shop and would have loved to been able to check the user #'s before buying them...or even now.

500 for the two (no rail and the blade on it was a 5" diamond blade???).  Not sure how good of a deal it was but I sure do like the size of Midi.  Much better to haul around with me to jobs.

I bought a vac and sander at a pawn shop years ago for my buddy and I called festool onsite to ask if it was reported stolen and it.  It wasnt btw.
