How do I switch to Delta pad on the RO 90DX?

The Festool manual is worthless... again. And, it seems that Rick has not produced one of his superior supplementals for the RO 90DX sander. So, I'm turning to you guys for help. Exactly how do I switch from the round pad to the delta? Thanks in advance.  Joel

Change the sander into delta mode and turn the pad counter clockwise until you feel it click and disengage. Take the delta pad and orient it at about 10:00 you will feel it seat itself, then turn the pad to 12:00 and you will feel it click into place.

To remove the delta pad press in on the green button and turn the bag counter clockwise until you can remove it.

All done.

Zack, I turn the pad and it clicks and locks in place, but how do I disengage it? I'm tugging in every direction and I don't what to force it and break something. What am I missing? Thanks.

Got it! Thanks guys. Actually, I was doing it correctly but there was so much resistance that I being a bit timid – afraid I'd break it. With your instructions – and especially the video – I got the confidence to go for it. And, after several on/offs, it's gotten much easier to do. Thanks again.  Joel
