How do you cut crown with the Kapex and UG stand?

Considering a Kapex for next year and since I need to be very mobile, the UG stand looks perfect. But since the crown stops don't work simultaneously with the extensions, how do you do crown? Is there a place to clamp a front support board so the crown can be nested in or ???

I like Ron P's Ult Mitre stand but am hoping for something even more mobile, like the wheeled UG.

Clamping a board across the front is the easiest solution.  I also saw a photo somewhere of one of the guys who puts the fences on backwards, with the lip toward the front, and sets the distance to the lip at the same distance as the crown's spring angle, creating a built-in alignment stop.

If you ever get a chance to go to one of Gary Katz's roadshows, I'd highly recommend it.  He uses the kapex, his own extensions he built, and clamps a board.  He goes through a super complicated crown run (lots of turns, cathedral ceilings, stairs etc all in one run).  Takes him about 10 minutes and explains it every step of the way.  He also recommends clamping the board because it allows him to keep it a template (he writes the name of the job and/or room on it) so if he ever goes back he never has to reset or remember.  His road shows are all over the country, plus his site and DVD's have a lot of great info and alink to the show schedule as well.

There's a link in here that I've been trying to find...I think it's from Al?  The guy who does MM blades. He came up with a piece that fixes to the UG extensions that allows you to clamp a board across the Kapex... If anybody has that link, could you post it. It was in the FOG not too long ago!

You can move the extensions forward to have more room to clamp a board to cut the crown nested.

Fasttrac has a new wing extension set up for the Kapex but it does not have the same features as the Festool extensions.

I like the above solution, just reposition the extensions and clamp a board to it.
