How do you orient the DF 500 in a CT Tool Holder?

OK, silly question, but....what is the correct orientation for hanging a DF 500 in a CT Tool Holder? I can't seem to figure it out.

I've tried various positions and with each one, It's either metal on metal with the holder rubbing against the plate or fence, hooking into a knob, or it gets wedged into the holder and when removing the Domino, I end up removing the entire holder.

The product page says it works with all sanders and the Domino, but hanging one feels like an after-thought.

Is there a right way? Or is it just kinda half-baked?

I might be accused of being a bit too "precious" with mine, but I would never do that. I set mine aside, on a rimmed pull-out that is part of my ironically non-portable Sysport. I have 2 of them, one on each side of the shop, near each CT.
It originally started as a place to park the TS between cuts, but morphed into an everything spot. TS, OF, DF, they all go there, if I am going to use them again fairly soon. Otherwise, they get disconnected and either up onto the back bench itself or back in the Systainer. I am paranoid about them hitting the floor, thus the rim around the edges.
When using the DF and Zeta alternately, they both set there.

A pull-out rimmed shelf for tools. Brilliant.

But in the over-obsessing category: is there a particular spec of drawer slides needed? Or will the 14" Center Mount Slides from Highpoint suffice?
14" is enough for an entire Systainer, so I'm sure 14" slides would work, but mine are deeper than that.
I built the main cabinets to the typical 24" depth of a standard base cabinet. They were built to support a countertop, as a work surface. In that light, I used 20" drawer slides, rather than waste the space back there. The Systainers sit in the front, anchored by pockets for the feet, the slabs themselves are 22" deep. The space behind houses accessories, for the same tool.
Because I was somewhat locked into this "standard", that rimmed shelf followed suit, when I had the idea to try it out.
They are not as deep (only 20"), since I made them from scraps. I used what I had, at the time, which is pretty much how I made all of them.
