I have searched here on FOG trying to lear how to remove the top on a T-loc systainer.  I am looking to put a Dust Deputy in one on top of my CT26.

Anyone familiar with how to remove the top?

Here's a link to a thread that Seth wrote about removing the top of the older Classic Systainers.  I don't have any of the new T-Locs, so I am not sure if this is the same or not...

tF:  Hinge Pin Removal

I don't think they are set up the same. I looked at the thread linked and my best recollection (the systainers are at the shop in town) is that they are different.

Sorry can't help, at least not today. My only T-Loc is several miles away at present.

It looks like basically the same procedure as the classics to me...

If the reinforcement bar is in the back, it covers up the ends of the hinge pins. If so, you have to grab the pin through a small cavity to get it started. Then grab the head with something and pry it out the remainder.

If the reinforcement bar is not in the back you just pop the inside of the hinge pin to get it started.

Will give it a try today...Thanks.  I will take a few pictures of the process along the way and if(?) successful will post them here.
