I am wondering this because i got my standard blade "sharpened" last summer, after working at least 1-2 years without sharpening (from when i bough it used)
It was still cutting cleanly, but i supposed it would be good for the machine to get it sharpened.
Well the result is that the cut now is relatively rough as if you were cutting with a 24T ripping blade, while before that it used to make impressively clean cuts where it left the end grain completely closed, shiny and glass smooth as if it had been polished.
So i am wondering did the sharpening service mess up my blade? Or was it so dull before that it polished the wood?
