My workshop holds 10 MFTs comfortably amongst a few other bits and Festool pieces.  ;D

Gotta brag sometimes... anyway I can't convert sq ft to sq m so I won't corrupt the vote.

Currently in a typical 24x 24' garage.  But as soon as I get the permits Ok'd by the county, we're adding another 24x 24' behind the original to creat a 48x 24, with an overhead door between the two.  I need the space for the next boat project.  (although my honey thinks it's for her car!!)

for those that arnt fussy..........        11 square foot to a square metre

for those who like easy maths......... 10 sq foot

for those who like it exact....            10.76391 sq foot

for those who dont care..............

Mine is 183 square feet floor area, so I've added my vote in 150-300 sq. ft., but within that there's a bit of storage and a utility area, so the working area is probably under 150. Still, once I get the adjacent room tanked & drylined the utility stuff will move into there.

I took some photos of it when I moved in about 2 months ago, but I still haven't found the lead for my camera so can't transfer the pictures... Once it turns up, I'll post some pics in the 'Shop Tours' section.

Just over 150 ft^2.  I have half a two car garage and the back wall of the garage.  In the warmer months I am hoping to leave my mom's car out and  have the extra space when needed.  We live in chicago and she goes to work at around 6 am and that is just too early to be scraping snow and ice from the car.  I just rearragned the space this past couple of days and hope that it works better.

Truely speaking, I have a nice car garage.  No cars share it, but I do have to accomodate a water heater, boiler for radiant heat, water softener, gardening stuf, and a wide passageway to the house door.  I sometimes feel like the old joke, "my shop is so small I have to go outside to change my mind."

Based on poll results I am in the minority @ 10' by 12'. Outside dimensions that is... so call it 112" by 136", or 15,232 square inches.... Just sounds bigger that way.  [poke]

A bit of yapping about the small shop over here.

The building is 24" x40", but the actual shop space is about 23' x 31'. I have a small office and an equipment/storage room in the back that eats up about 8' of the shop.

The selection options above the "Vote" button do not have the (common?) option "I do not have a shop, when needed I use my garage or a part of it".

Nice "nearly 10 years later" bump :)

23x28' two car garage here @ 715sqft.  The 3 year plan calls for something a bit larger and standalone.

Currently in the planning stage - looking at something 10x18m .. so that'd be ~2,000 square feet, if I can sneak it by the keeper [wink] [big grin]

12000X6000mm or approx 40X20 ft = 800sq ft.

Usable space - 4 square ft!  [eek] [big grin]

Mine is about one and a half car spots in a three car garage. Got a lot in there though with surprisingly plenty of room to move around.

I need to remove the two cars from the garage to bring out the big tools!

I have almost exactly 150sqft (14m^2). Being an urban apartment dweller I'm lucky to be even able to rent that in the basement of our building I guess.
