How thick is the Hard Fiber Base LA-OF1400?

Watched a youtube video,  40 seconds into it, he shows a Festool 5mm thick fiber base...

Is this a new product?  Previous posters mentioned it was only 3mm...

This thread ran its course because we came to the conclusion that you need 5mm.  I'm not sure what video you're referring to but I'm fairly certain there isn't a new version of the fiber base.  I'm guessing you may have seen the video for the OF2200 and its offset base for the guide rail.  That's the only router with an offset base.

sorry, forgot to post the you tube link... about 40 seconds into it... It's a dealer, hence why I felt they did not get it wrong, he clearly says 5mm base... (for the 1400, not 2200)

No, unfortunately we only have the 3mm base -- a 5mm base for the OF 1400 has been a big item on the Festool Wish List since long before any of us ever saw the OF2200's offset base.  It would be a popular item if ever produced.  :hint-hint:
