The Kapex extensions are such a game changer for my shop and I love owning a set. However, sometimes the calibration can be off - especially after transporting them. Here is a quick video on how to calibrate them:

This is also explained in the manual provided with the extensions.
Loosen the 3 bolts under slightly, put a ruler which has an end that starts at zero and put the ruler against a tooth on the blade (head on saw dropped down and locked)
Adjust extension to match ruler - tighten bolts. Finished.

Anyone have to remove and replace the extension tapes? Curious if they just rip off and reapply or need to be replaced?

I've not removed the tapes, and they seem like their glued down to the aluminum body - not sure how easy it is to take off and replace. You switching measuring units?

Yep! The process is pretty straightforward - clean and easy!

No, I just built my own crown stops with a short length of t-track between the saw base and extensions, so the tapes are both out by 3/4” now.

Thanks for this. Just had to go through this calibration after putting on a new blade. Your way is faster and easier.
