How to control the Rotex 90

ok so I'm getting a little obsessed here.  I just spent about half an hour in my garage with my post-broken-in ro90 experimenting with one-handed grips.  in regular mode, its a piece of cake one-handed, doesn't even matter how you hold it.  in gear driven mode, your grip has to be a little more particular but its still totally doable.  i found that its actually easiest to control one-handed if you put your hand through the grip and hold it by the bottom rail instead of the top.  this way you can keep a finger or two on the workpiece to help balance the sander.  even holding it normally by the grip, the way it looks like it was meant to be held, isn't bad.  i took a couple of videos (which are pretty crappy) to show you what i mean.  keep in mind I'm doing this while recording on my iPhone with my other hand.  i wouldn't call my technique perfect (there's a little bit of dancing around), but the sander is much more manageable than it was before the break in, and i think it shows in the video.  lemme know what you think.  i also made it a point to do this without dust collection cause i saw that hose situation in the other video too.  I'm gonna redo this tomorrow and get a better video, but I've been sick for 8 days and I'm crazy bored so i did this now to ease the boredom.

Used my 90 all day yesterday and finally got the feel for it.  Turned the vac ~50%, turned the sander to 4.  The biggest difference I saw is pressure at the head. If I even slightly push on the side, it grabs and wants to jerk in that direction, makes sense as it's spinning.  If I keep the pressure flat and even across the bulb, and support the hose with the other hand, she sings and grinds away with no jerk.
