Hello!
Please excuse my very post here being a probably stupid question - and worst of all, it is not related to a Festool-systainer but a Makpac...
I recently ordered a Makita-device that was supposed to arrive in a systainer - but somehow the store screwed their online listing up and they just sent me the machine. As a sign of their goodwill, they sent me a Makpac belonging to a different piece of equipment.
Instead of removing the stickers on the systainer with hot air, they chose to use grain alcohol (or "Spiritus" as it called in Germany).
Long story short: The side of the systainer discolored quite a lot.
I am now wondering, if it is possible to still save the box... I tried scrubbing with a coarse kitchen-sponge and I feel like I am able to remove some of the light color and reveal the original color again...
But then, on the other hand, I am not 100% sure if the rubbing-alcohol just created a new layer that that I am just scratching away or if I am removing a whole layer of the box.
Any ideas?
