I thought this had come up before, but I can't seem to find the post via a search or the googles.
Is there a trick to disassembling the Sys3 latches? I think they slide apart, but I can't seem to get the halves to separate cleanly.
Reason being, I got a Sapphire blue Sys M 187 to replace my Installer Set Blue Systainer, and I want to switch the latches so I have a green latch on the M 187, but I would like to keep some green on the old Installer Set latch as well.
I have plenty of Sys3s from various new tools, so I figured I would just swap the face plate between the two and have some two-tone latches.
Granted, this looks much better on the classic T-Loc, since it's a full frame with an insert, but I think it will look decent enough this way, too.
Any help?
