How to improve the 1440 Dust Extraction

So I find the dust extraction to be really poor when using the 1440, when using the edge attachment its not to bad.

I have a 27mm hose, will the 36 make a big difference, as had read it helps with the pinch point?

In general, for Track saw, domino, sander etc, does the 36mm hose make a noticable difference, as thinking of buying with the cleaning kit if so.

You mean 1400?  The DC on that one is as good as it gets.  Hose might be clogged- and the larger hose WILL help with that. 

For groove cuts, if you're getting bad DC on those, you've got something assembled wrong.  Or clogged.

For edge cuts, yes you absolutely need the edge catcher.  No machine on the planet will extract properly without one.
