I got a little carried away on this one but my goal was to source every thing from no more than 3 local stores. So every thing came from Woodcraft, Home Depot, ACE hardware. Now this is my proto type and it needs some polishing but its basically finished. I will add pictures of the adjustable brace used to set and hold the extension in correct alignment very soon. Also the leg is  adjustable to 42” I think. I guess I do have a 4th source Shopsmith the leg. OK 5 sources I forgot the attachment plates from multi blades. O and about 150 USD should do it. So if you wish to make any I can tell what to buy and how I did in 3 hr and i am slow.

Nicely done!  Tell us more about the leg and other specialty hardware.

Looks like a Multiblades Kapex attachment.

You are the first I have seen with the aluminum brace.  Is there that much instability?

Thanks

The leg mount looks like a flag-pole wall mount. And the aluminum leg looks like an adjustable cane or walking-stick.

I apologize for the delay I was getting laid off from my job [smile]
The foot mounting is a part used for a concrete float bought at Home Depot 15.00 bucks USD See pic. The leg is from Shopsmith power tool company it is one of their support poles stuffed into the part  from Home Depot with a spacer from ACE hardware which is hot tub rubber tubing. Also you must heat the tubing to get it inserted. If you wish more info just email me. Since i built this is have bought a used set of Festool extensions in a complete shop I just bought so I will most probably sell these.
