Would you happen to know the amp rating for the remote your using ?

Thanks,  Eric

Sorry to get back to you late. The one I am using is 13A rating.

I am only using it to plug a lamp so that I can trigger the CT with auto start, the amp rating is not really important in that matter.  But if you want to plug the vacuum / tool directly into the switch, you might want to get different one according to the vacuum / tool usage.

FastCap carries a vacuum switch might have a better amp rating.

Thanks JZ,  I did a search for a  20 amp outdoor remote controlled outlet and couldn't find one.....so I wasn't sure if you found one and had a secret source.  [wink]      Defiantly wouldn't want to use a 10 amp remote with a tool.  [scared]
I've seen the Fastcap remote, I always seem to forget about it though.  [embarassed]
