I am glad to see Festool put it on the site

Shane is teasing us. [big grin]  I'm still intrigued by this cart so I'm looking forward to seeing one.  And, I can't wait to be my hands on one the Festool Sys tool boxes. [thumbs up]

Sorry to say I don't have a video of it to taunt/entice you with, but it's coming soon. Hang tight. More info coming soon.  [big grin] [wink]

Very cool!!  How many Systainers can it hold -- is there a Systainer configuration similar to the Sysports anywhere?  For example, it can hold one Sys 5, 3 Sys 2 and a Sys 1, etc...?

Scot,

It'll hold up to 220 lbs of your favorite Sys-stuff. Technically, I don't think there's any limit to configuration or stack order. It's more about what's reasonable to tilt back and cart around on it. I think you'd want the stack to be not much higher than the handle to keep it manageable. Without putting a tape on it, I don't know the height or number of Sys-whatever-sizes would be within that height. Let me see what I can find out and post back.

In the video you can see he puts on a sys 4, a sys 3 and a sys 2, making that a sys 9 combination.

There's room for one more systainer on top so depending on which one you choose you could make that somewhere between a sys 10 to 14 combi.

On the Dutch Festool website, the weight rating is given as 100 Kg (220 lbs).

Some specs...

Distance from the deck to the top of the handle - 35-3/4"
Capacity - SYS 1  8
Capacity - SYS 2  5
Capacity - SYS 3  4
Capacity - SYS 4  3
Capacity - SYS 5  2

Of course, you could mix and match Systainers/Sortainers.

Shane I heard you can get it with a motor too and it can be used like a segway................

Thanks, Shane!  It can hold a pretty hefty stack!

Believe it or not, when my wife saw the SysRoll, the first thing she suggested was that a motor could be added then one could ride on it.  Sounds like a great project when I run out of other ways to get into trouble.

I can see that for certain loads it would be good to have more than one strap.  Of course, one could use a bungee cord, but a second Festool strap would come in handy.  Will it be possible to purchase a strap?

I have been been told yes but don't have a part number or price.
