I have a Festool AP85 (circular saw) about 10 years and love working with her. Recently when I unplug the machine makes a different noise, which is causing such a different noise? You will need some spare parts.

Excuse my translation.

Regards.

Toninho

Sorry to hear your saw has problems. Hard to tell what it can be but I found a parts diagram.
http://www.mtmc.co.uk/Festool-AP-85--230V-/-489941-Spare-Parts__p-93712.aspx

Since there doesn't appear to be any electronic controls it could be

- bearings
- some thing in the gearing
- motor
- some debris that got stuck perhaps
- loose blade or the blade rubbing somewhere
- worn brushes

With it unplugged try to rotate the blade by hand. Any odd noise ?
Try to run it with out the blade and see if the noise is there
Try calling the local Festool office for repair advice

Just some ideas.
