Our toilets at work are shared between two businesses in adjoining buildings, and the guys next door had the handles replaced with large electronic locks and the pic is the result.

Everytime I see this I just think "how??", "why??"!

I did helpfully point it out to one of the guys next door but he just started backing away while smiling and nodding, so he obviously thinks I'm nuts, and I also tried to "persuade" it with a hammer, but the "professional" locksmith who fitted it must have done it in a way so it can't be adjusted.

I just don't know how people sleep at night doing work like this.

You need to remove and re-attach the 'Mens' signage and put it up crooked and off-center
I honestly don't think anyone at work would notice unfortunately. ;-(

If it wouldn't cause trouble I'd go over the off-angle edges with a black texta to make it appear level, but they're a pretty straight laced mob next door so it might be a call to arms.

Simple. Skew the walls to match. 😁

I was visiting a sick friend a few weeks ago. Helping fix a few things around the house for his wife. The house is probably 5 years old and they purchased it maybe 3 years ago. I noticed immediately that all the electrical plate screws were clocked and pointed it out to the wife. They never noticed. There was an issue with a couple of LED can lights not working right even after I replaced the switch. The lights in the ceiling required a ten foot ladder which they didn’t have. The original builder of the house was building another house down the road and my friend’s wife noticed the electrician’s truck parked there so asked if he could come over and check out the lights. When he showed up I asked him if he did the electrical work on the house and he confirmed he did I told him I noticed he clocked all the screws. He said he did and he’s kinda OCD. I said I know, me too. It was a good small moment. So it took my journey from Hawaii to New Mexico to say goodbye to a friend I’ve known for 65 years for someone to notice and acknowledge an electrician’s attention to detail.
