Is it just me, or does anyone else instantly think Festool when they see the color green on a tool?

I got this email from Rockler and every thing with green on it, instantly caught my eye.

I think I may have to check myself into rehab to detox from OD-ing on too much green Kool-Aid...  [big grin]

Festool's designers and graphic artists were ahead of the curve when they chose colors.  The rest of the world is catching up.

Peter - that's hilarious!  Love to get one of those T-shirts  [big grin].

I'm absolutely certain Festool could sell a boat load of T-shirts and other "swag" type items - wonder why they don't license someone to do that?

Following Pavlov, BFSkinner developed theories of intermittent and operant conditioning. See -

I have concluded that it is Intermittent Conditioning that leads to a greater addiction to Festool for the DIY/hobbiest than necessarily the professional user, due to the 'intermittent' nature of either the purchase or the use of Festool items.  [smile]

I grew up with Arctic Cat snowmobiles and Kawasaki dirt bikes, so the affinity for green and black is deeply ingrained (for better or worse).

You should see how crazy Snap-On fans go for the neon green versions of their tools!
