After much umming and awwing I bought myself a CXS.  Took delivery of it today, and I must say it's very very nice (my new favourite toy!)  ;D  The wife doesn't get it at all... ::)

Few questions, there is slight movement in the battery when it's attached to the drill (only slight) but it's present.  Is this normal?  Other than that it seems spot on.  Comparing it in size to my Metabo Powermaxx LI, the CXS is only a tiny bit bigger, so that's cool.  I am selling the metabo on to finance this CXS, but I have to say I was very impressed with the performance of the Powermaxx considering it's size and low voltage rating (7V or thereabouts).  It really drove in stubborn screws and I was very impressed by the power of it's punches.  Great torque, so hopefully the CXS will live up to it.

Hi Lewis

Mine moves the same if you "wiggle" it!

No tauma though, had mine a few months and it is no problems at all.

Hi Lewis,

I've just checked mine and yeah, there's a little bit of movement in the battery, just a few mm but enough to notice. Nothing to worry about I wouldn't think. I love the drill, hope you're as pleased with yours as I am with mine!

Cheers,
Rick

Thanks boy :)  Yes I thought it would be normal, and yes I do love it!  I can see how the whole FT thing is so addictive... [cool]
