Actually I have several problems - as the LOL tells me.  But I need your help for this one:

I happen to have a brand new blue plastic box - code name Fogtainer 1 - that is lonely and is looking for a new home.  Yes, it is the original prototype.  It is brand new - never used.  It is a little different than what will be produced for the group buy, but is as shown in numerous threads here.

Any ideas for a contest worthy of such a prize?

1 millionth post on the FOG?

Good idea but that might be a awhile.  The forum started in Jan. 2007 and we are only a little over 100,000 posts. So you better get busy posting. ;D

Have members submit a photo of their systainer collection plus sysports and DYI sysports, with the member in the photos. Maybe add a short explanation how you got introduced to Festool. Then do a random drawing from the submissions.

Does a few things, gets members to add content to the site, lets members see other members, and we can see who has Festool-itis the worst.  [smile]

The first one who can say real fast five times "She saws faster and fancier with her Festool tracksaw MFT and TS55 down by the seashore", wins the prize. [crying]

Most creative use of an empty systainer.

Best shop organization tip or idea.

Best tip for hiding new systainers from the LOYL, especially the blue ones

Best idea for using a systainer outside of the shop or jobsite.  (Non-woodworking use)

Most interesting idea for how someone would use the custom FOGtainer

Or just give it to the first person who says, "please, I'd love to have it, send it to me"

Oh, guess what?  I win!

PM me for contact information and I'll pay shipping charges
;D

Some great ideas here.  Nobody mentioned guessing the total number to be sold contest though?  Hmm.  Got a little time.

More ideas?

OK, I'll one-up that.......

Systainer bingo/lottery!

A number sequence representing the quantity of each size (SYS 1-2-3-4) ordered. For example: 81-56-29-17. You could even add a "powerball" number representing the largest single order or something like that

My entry for the best use for a Sys1:

This converts a CT33 into a handy beverage cart.  By using the FOGtainer in place of the standard Festool model, there would be no doubt that the contents would FOG one's ability to continue working with power tools.  This would greatly enhance safety in my shop, as it is so easy be confused by all those standard systainers that are supposed to contain tools.

Now you need to buy a special edition so that if you win you can have one for whites / lights and also reds.

Nah, he just needs a bigger FOGtainer.   [tongue]

This gives "a box of wine" a whole new meaning........

Here is a link to the Tanos Germany site:  systainer ideas    middle of the page on left side are different uses for systainers.  Interesting wine box.

I would like to thank those who have posted here with ideas.  I have taken into consideration all of the suggestions and also considered mine.

An announcement will be forthcoming!
